Griffith’s annual Music, Food and Wine Festival La Festa is a celebration of Griffith's colourful and dynamic multicultural community and its premium wine, food and agricultural industries.
Both locals and visitors support the event and in 2013 it attracted a record crowd of 12,000!
La Festa is the perfect family day out with lively and exciting children’s entertainment and performances and plenty of music, food and wine on offer for the adults.
In the leadup to the 2014 festival, the La Festa committee will call for local gourmet food and beverage vendors, boutique wineries and fresh produce from Griffith’s best bakers, growers and caterers to join in the excitement and celebration at the 2014 event.
With a refreshed focus on high quality local food, beverage and produce the 2013 La Festa saw the introduction of the ‘Arvo’ beer tent, an increased number of food and wine stalls and a new produce area to showcase raw produce from the Griffith district.
To add to this the celebrity chef tent involved celebrity chefs Miguel Maestro from The Living Room and Rocco La Bella of the Italian duo, Nic and Rocco. This added a great buzz to the festival and attracted many more food and bev buffs then ever before!
