This year La Festa will be bigger then ever with world-renowned Jazz and Blues act, Joe Camilleri and The Black Sorrows to headline an exciting program of music, food, wine and cultural celebration.
Since the group formed in 1984, Joe Camilleri and The Black Sorrows have toured Australia, played sell out shows across Europe, won the ARIA for Best Band‚ reached #2 on the ARIA Jazz & Blues Chart and sold more than a million albums worldwide.
Performing a lifetime of hits including those released on their latest album, “Certified Blue”, The Sorrows are just the first major announcement for this year’s new look La Festa.
Over the Easter holiday period, Riverina residents and their visiting friends and relatives will be asked to make their way to the picturesque surrounds of Griffith's Memorial Park – the new home of La Festa!
Here, patrons can anticipate to experience a full program of live music and entertainment across two festival stages, traditional Italian cooking demonstrations in The Gourmet Cucina, children's activities and amusements and a great variety of food and wine produced within the parameters of the region.
